Blueberry Hand pie
The Blueberry Store Blueberry Pie Filling (1/4 cup or more)
1 refrigerated pie crust
Melted butter to brush on crust
3 -6 teaspoons Butter (optional)
1 Tablespoon water
1 Tablespoon sugar (optional)
Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 6-8 equal square portions.
Spoon about 1 tablespoon or more of True Blue pie filling onto 3-4 portions. Do not overfill.
Cut butter into pieces, dot 1/4 teaspoon butter on top of filling.
With the other 3-4 portions, place over the filling and seal using a bit of water on your finger. Then press edge firmly so the filling doesn’t come out. With a fork or knife, poke a few ( 10 or so) holes on the top crust and brush all tops with the melted butter. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
